9Lies What a fantastic year it's been for 9Lies!

It was the year which saw the 'Behind It All' album being released to critical acclaim, with massive radio airplay around the globe, and all without a record company being involved! It was also the year which saw the song 'Blind' being snapped up by Warner Brothers, and 'Behind it All' the title track from the album finding a new home as theme tune to reality tv show 'Our Prisoner' in the USA. We've been beamed up and down from satellites around the world more times than we care to remember.

In the last 6 months alone 9Lies have travelled to Poland to play the Vena Music Festival to thousands of screaming fans, licensed a song (We R1) to Techno Sweat for use on their exercise Music CD's, 18000 people joined us on our 2 International Myspace sites and in the last 3 months we've gathered over 900 groupies since joining the Bebo social networking site, with fans placing our songs on over 1500 of their play lists!

The Song 'Slippin Away' has not only been downloaded online during the last year more than 29,000 times, but has more recently been chosen by ASCAP for excellence in song writing at the ASCAP Music Expo 07 in L.A.
Download sales on digital sites such as iTunes and Rhapsody have remained strong, as have Material Worldwide CD sales from our Online Music Store, and all of this is down to you! Thank you!!

It doesn’t end there though! The new album 'Halfway from Nowhere' is almost finished and sounding absolutely fantastic!! If you haven't already done so, then join the 9Lies Mailing list for free, to be kept up to date and receive free member offers!

PiknClik PiknClik.com was developed as part of a program to help independent artist's globally, by promoting their material alongside already established artist's. All promotional material can be found through the link called Music/Video/Blog.

PiknClik.com provides a platform for independent artist's to showcase their music, videos, photo's & blog's while also providing them with a facility to sell their material/merchandise to their fan base.

The aim of this project is to establish a fan base for all of the independent artist's by allowing visitors to the site, to listen to their favorite established artist and in turn promote the independent artist's material in the same field i.e. Established Rock material with Independent Rock material etc.

We are looking for all the support we can get to make this happen, so please tell all your friends about our concept and ask them to Visit to show their support - its free!

Remember the more people who vistit and use our services, the bigger the audience will be for all of our independent artist!

Please show your support by becoming a regular visitor to PiknClik.com and becoming a fan to the independent artist that you like.

For Other Artists To Collaborate
Member: (toojazzy) | Posted: 01/12/08 09:38:51 | Tag: Collaborations
toojazzy Would like to correspond with other artists. I am on the arranging staff for Peaches & Herb, and from time to time will be working for other artists from a different genre, such as Hip-Hop, Jazz, Gospel, Fusion, etcetera. I am an Old School musician who plays mostly R&B and Gospel. But I write for all styles. If you need a professional review or critique of your music by someone who will give back REAL objective feedback. This is your chance to get it! I am ready and available.
